Superman ReturnsA sequel to Superman Returns is in the works after director Bryan Singer signed on to make the next movie in the superhero franchise. Recent reports suggested there would be no follow-up to the Brandon Routh-starring movie because "Superman Returns" didn't take as much as was hoped at the international box office.
